The Village of Oak Hill is
currently receiving applications (resumes) for the position of Chief of Police.
Deadline for receiving resumes is Friday, January 16 2015
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
1. Performs a variety of complex administrative
supervisory and professional work in planning, coordinating and directing the
activities of the Police Department.
2. Works under the general guidance and
direction of the Village Mayor.
3. Exercises supervision over all Police
Department staff directly or through subordinate supervisors.
Desired
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Seven (7) years of experience in police work.
2. Completion of the basic law enforcement
training academy and or equivalent.
3. Considerable knowledge of applicable laws,
ordinances and department rules and regulations.
4. Ensure that the laws and ordinances are
enforced and that the public peace and safety is maintained.
5. Must live or be willing to move within the
vicinity of Oak Hill.
